Support: Audio and Video Settings
Some additional options for audio and video input/output management are available in menu Settings -> Audio/Video Settings.

Video
SeeStorm for Skype automatically detects if the video card of your computer provides hardware 3D rendering.
If it is available, DirectX option is activated automatically. In case hardware 3D rendering is not possible, Software rendering is activated.

You can switch manually between these 2 options, but please note:
Generally, if a hardware 3D rendering is available, the output video quality is better with DirectX option selected. However, in some cases of older video cards' versions, Software option would provide better performance.

Audio
If available, you can choose the audio device to get the speech/audio stream to animate avatar from. You can switch between Microphone and Speakers. But please note:
1. In case you switch between audio playback devices during a Skype call session, the operation of SeeStorm application may be broken. To restore the operation you need to restart SeeStorm for Skype: find its icon in the system tray, right-click it and press Exit to close the application, then launch SeeStorm for Skype again.
2. USB devices (headset, speakers, etc.) are not supported in the current version of SeeStorm for Skype.
